INGRIENTS
CORN FLOUR - 100 gm
SUGAR - 200 gm
Water - 450 ml
Ghee - 100 gm
Cardamom Green - 3-4
Edible Food Color - As required
Lemon Juice - 1 tspn
PROCEDURE
1. On medium flame and In a non-stick pan melt sugar in 200 ml of water and add cardamom seeds.
2. Mix cornflour with remaining 200 ml of water. Pour this to the sugar solution and keep stirring. The mixture will thicken. To this add food color and mix evenly. Add lemon juice to prevent crystallization of sugar.
3. Now add ghee in small amounts and let the mixture soak it completely. A shine will come on the Halwa.
4. Add watermelon seeds to give a crunch. 5. Pour it in a greased pan and let it set for 1 hour. Cut into pieces and serve.
