"IDLI" WITH SEMOLINA, OATS, CASHEWS AND SEEDS
INGREDIENTS
SEMOLINA - 3/4 CUP
ROLLED OATS - 1/2 CUP
YOGURT - 1 CUP
WATER - 1/2 CUP
SODA BI CARB - 1/4 TSPN
FRUIT SALT - 1 TSPN
LEMON JUICE - 1 TSPN
SALT TO TASTE (BOTH SODA AND FRUIT SALT ARE SALTY)
Sunflower and Flax seeds - 1 tspn each
Cashews - 10 kernels finely CHOPPED
Few CORIANDER LEAVES CHOPPED
Cashews - 10 kernels finely CHOPPED
Few CORIANDER LEAVES CHOPPED
PROCEDURE
IN A BOWL ADD SEMOLINA, OATS, YOGURT, WATER, LEMON JUICE, SALT, SEEDS, CORIANDER LEAVES AND CHOPPED CASHEWS. MIX IT. PREPARE MICROWAVE IDLI STAND BY APPLYING OIL IN THE TRAYS AND PUTTING SMALL WATER IN LOWER COMPARTMENT. ADD SODA AND FRUIT SALT AND MIX. MIXTURE WILL START TO BUBBLE. LEAVE IT FOR 2 MINUTES. SMALL PORTIONS OF MIXTURE ARE ADDED TO IDLI CUPS ON IDLI TRAYS. LEAVE SPACE FOR IDLI TO RISE. COOK IN MICROWAVE(full power) COVERED WITH UPPER LID FOR 4 MINUTES. LET COOL FOR 30 SECONDS. SERVE IDLI WITH COCONUT OR SWEET TAMARIND CHUTNEY OR MINT CHUTNEY.
