MICROWAVE CAKE WITH MILK POWDER




INGREDIENTS

REFINED FLOUR - 120 gm
MILK POWDER (SWEETENED) - 100 gm
SUGAR - 80 gm
BUTTER (UNSALTED) - 80 gm
BAKING SODA - 1 tspn
BAKING POWDER - 1/2 tspn
VANILLA - 1 tspn
DRY FRUITS - 40 gm
MILK - 40-50 ml (Use enough to get cake consistency)

PROCEDURE

1. Grind sugar and soften butter. Mix them together. Add vanilla. 
2. Sieve Flour, Milk powder, baking-powder and baking-soda.  
3. Start adding Step 2 materials to Step 1 in small portions. Add milk as required and in small amounts. Keep adding till all material is used up and you get a thick but flowing consistency. 
4. Apply oil to microwave safe ceramic mould and sprinkle some flour throughout. Pour mixture into the mould, Top with chopped dry fruits and microwave for 4-5 minutes. Check with a pointed knife, it should come out clean. Pull out the mould and keep aside for 5-10 minutes as the microwave cake keeps on cooking for some time. De-mould it and cut into pieces.
