INGREDIENTS
Refined Flour - 170 gm
Cocoa Powder - 30 gm
Ghee / Oil - 200 gm
Sweetened Condensed Milk - 400 gm
Club Soda (carbonated water) - 180 ml
Baking Powder - 1 tspn
Baking Soda - 1 tspn
Salt - 1 pinch.
Vanilla essense - 1 tspn
METHOD
1.Mix oil and condensed milk in a bowl.
2.Add vanilla.
3.Sift the flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda together 2-3 times to get a good mix.
4.To the oil and condensed milk mixture add a small portion of flour mix followed by small amount of soda water. Repeat this till all the flour mix and soda water (added alternately) are incorporated. You get a dark brown mixture. Add very small amount of milk if the mixture in feels dense and heavy.
5.Now take a cake mould. Grease the mould with few drops of oil and put some flour. Tap the mould to cover inside completely with flour. Pour the mixture. Put in pre-heated oven at 160 C for 15-20 minutes. Use some pointed object and pierce into the cake, if it comes out clean then the cake is ready. It will come out cleanly from cake mould. Let it cool for some time. Cut into pieces and enjoy.
Note : No need to add any sugar because condensed milk is sweetened.
