SUPER-FOODS FROM AYURVEDA

       Ayurveda meaning 'knowledge of life', is Indian system of medicine that take nature's help to heal the body or more importantly keep the body immune against diseases. If you eat good and healthy food then that food will give you not only energy to work but also strength to fight diseases. The processed food with so many preservatives is harming the body. The hustle and bustle of our busy life is making us eat such processed food. Go to a supermarket and buy those luring packs of processed food and get into club of unhealthy human beings. 
       The nature has given us so many wonderful ayurvedic super-foods that are unknowingly protecting us from bacteria, viral infections, fever and even cancer. Some of these wonderful super-foods are ginger, garlic, holy basil (tulsi), ashwagandha root, amla (indian gooseberry), turmeric and brahmi.
1. Ginger - It has anti-inflammatory properties, soothes intestinal pain and cramps, prevents nausea and motion-sickness.
2. Garlic - It has anti-viral properties, cures respiratory track and relieves indigestion
